As an integral part of the Greater Manchester business community, our eleven area Colleges and Universities have a large impact on our local economy.
The following facts were taken from the Economic Impact Report by the New Hampshire College and University Council. Although these facts are state wide, you can easily glean the extensive economic impact Higher Education has in our local community.

- Over $194 Million Capital Investment - support for over 5,000 related new jobs in New Hampshire
- Over $200 Million in Research Funding
- Over $800 Million in Total Salaries, Wages and Benefits
- Employing more than 18,000 people
- Over $145 Million in Spending comes from Local Economics by Student and their Families
